The National Marker Company equipment lock-out danger tag informs workers or employees to not operate an equipment and instructs that the lock/tag may only be removed by the person shown on the back. It is mostly used to mark malfunctioning machinery which is being repaired to prevent accidents. The tag has blank space at the back to write down lock-out procedure and safety message to ensure better workplace safety. The legend “DANGER – DO NOT OPERATE – THIS LOCK/TAG MAY ONLY BE REMOVED BY THE PERSON SHOWN ON BACK” is printed on the front and “DANGER - EQUIPMENT LOCKED OUT BY” on the back. The legible and bold text ensures better visibility even in low lighting conditions. Using safety tags with important updates and warnings is done to enforce common safety measure at a workplace.
